If you want your kids to eat fish, try putting it in tacos. It's such a fun way to eat fish - and a pretty delicious dish. My husband and I basically stopped eating fish when we lived in Brooklyn, because our little apartment would smell like fish for days. Even if we emptied the trash, did the dishes right after dinner, and scrubbed the counters, the rotting fish stink wouldn't go away.
Now that we live in a beautiful house with lots of ventilation, windows, and fresh air, we can cook fish again without the smell haunting us for days. Sometimes, when I plan our meals for the week, I forget that fish is a great option. Maybe because we avoided it for years. That's why I was pumped up to make this meal.
