Monday night I made the Caesar salad from The Martha Stewart Living Cookbook: The New Classics to go with our traditional pasta with meat sauce that I learned a few years ago by watching Rachael Ray's show. I also made the croutons to go on top - they were easy to make and pretty bad-ass. I couldn't believe that I made my own croutons. I know to some people, this isn't a big deal, but I had never even thought about making my own until reading this recipe. Now, I know what I was missing. There's nothing like a homemade crouton.
