When my fiance and I started planning our honeymoon, the first thing we considered was our budget. We wanted to take a long trip without spending tons of money, and somehow we're taking a three week honeymoon on our budget. It took a lot of research and planning, but we did it.

Tip of the Day - How to Choose a Honeymoon Destination

My fiance and I choose to take our honeymoon down the coast of Florida and back up the east coast to Virginia. The first reason we decided on this honeymoon trip was because my future father-in-law and his wife are graciously giving us a car for our wedding present (and they're giving it to us early). I know, we're lucky. We're picking up the car in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. So, we wanted to start from that there. The second reason had to do with my fear of flying. I HATE to fly and always become extremely anxious before, during, and after a flight. I didn't want to feel that way on our honeymoon, so we decided on a road trip.
